Amazing Skates!
I had trouble with my first order peeling because it seemed the shoe was dry rotted from maybe sitting too long? Genuine leather shoes don’t really peel, especially brand new out the box and even customer service thought that was weird and responded as fast as possible and sending me a replacement ASAP. amazing customer service, loving my skates and my husband and I got matching. We love them, and have already ordered our second pair from this website because we also wanted a pair of artistic skates. LOVE this website/company. Will recommend 10/10 for anybody that wants to make a purchase.

Great Skate
Purchased these after not skating for 30 years. Laces failed on the 2nd trip to the rink and had a bad bearing out of the box. A set of Derby waxed laces solved the lace problem and RollerSkateNation replaced the bearing. Would get five stars if not for those two issues.

Overall impression
I haven't skated in years and was looking for a pair of affordable outdoor skates. I just recieved my Sure Grip Rebels. They are pretty tight but made of leather so they should mold nicely to my feet, I would be afraid to get the next size up. The first time lacing them up both laces broke, the outer wrapping came apart. I went to my local skate shop and picked up a new set of waxed laces. First time out and they roll very smooth but it will take me a while to get back in the groove.

Impressed!
I was tinkering with the idea that I would want the upgraded wheels and bearings... the more I read, the more I was upsetting myself. I knew I wanted out of rental skates but didn't want to invest in anything cheap. I am almost 40 and 225lbs, skating with my daughter on the weekends, so I didn't want anything too loud. I love the Rebel boot. It is snug and very secure. If I mentioned anything about the fit it would be ample, but on the snug side. The wheels grip the rink floors very well and the bearing roll for days. They are quiet and certainly as fast as I am willing to go. I now have roughly 20 hours on the skates and they just keep getting better. Vey nice and the perfect build for my needs!

You get what you pay for. I bought a cheaper plastic pair and they didn't give me any support or comfort. These are made of quality leather and have plenty of padding. The tongues are a little stuff but I think that will loosen up with wear. I just took them to the rink yesterday and they are super fast and smooth. My feet a tad wide and they fit good. I am a women's size 7 and the size 6 men's fit perfect.
