Class-leading quality

It's no surprise that Riedell R3 Cosmic Superfly speed skate boots are so incredibly popular! The R3 boot features class-leading build quality – including a special grade of vinyl that is more durable than standard vinyl and a detailed boot construction process that was developed from Riedell's decades of boot-making experience.

We paired the R3 boot with an adjustable mini round toe stop in black, and an agile PowerDyne Thrust Nylon plate (15 degrees).

For this Riedell R3 quad roller skate, we chose a Roller Skate Nation exclusive, the Cosmic Superfly Wheels. This wheel is made from high quality -GRIP RITE- urethane. Long lasting, deep speed grooves mean maximum wear & grip. Nylon inserts keep the bearings cool & smooth. These speed wheels are 62mm x 40mm and 90A hardness.

The Riedell R3 fits similar to a sneaker. They are heavily padded and narrow in the toes.

    Great skate!

    I grew up skating on Riedell skates. Still have my old ones. Love the pair I just received. I asked for a mix of green and purple wheels, and they look awesome. I have not had the chance to skate on them yet, besides through the house. If you are looking for a great pair of first skates... I would recommend these. I wear a size 8 1/2- 9 in womens shoes, order a size 8, and they are a perfect fit. Fast shipping.

    I'm a big guy who hasn't been on speed skates in 25 years, though I am on my 2nd pair of blades. I bought these to skate with my 8yo son at the local rink and couldn't be happier. They are comfortably padded and the abec7 bearing keep them rolling smooth.

    Great skates fast shipping

    I spoke on line about the questions I had for skates and they were very helpful. I then ordered these skates since they are comfy but not bulky. They also have an Abec 7 bearing which is fast and effortless to skate on. I even love how I got to pick my wheel color, pink. They were perfect for me to go skating with my son and for the level that I skate at. They also cane the next day without having to pay for over night shipping. I am very impressed with the skates, service, and shipping.
