It's no surprise that Riedell R3 Cosmic Superfly speed skate boots are so incredibly popular! The R3 boot features class-leading build quality – including a special grade of vinyl that is more durable than standard vinyl and a detailed boot construction process that was developed from Riedell's decades of boot-making experience.
We paired the R3 boot with an adjustable mini round toe stop in black, and an agile PowerDyne Thrust Nylon plate (15 degrees).
For this Riedell R3 quad roller skate, we chose a Roller Skate Nation exclusive, the Cosmic Superfly Wheels. This wheel is made from high quality -GRIP RITE- urethane. Long lasting, deep speed grooves mean maximum wear & grip. Nylon inserts keep the bearings cool & smooth. These speed wheels are 62mm x 40mm and 90A hardness.

Perfect!
I was on the hunt for skates that were low around my ankle because I cannot stand when they come up very high on me. I have short legs so it just looks silly. These were perfect! Great quality and great price. I've been skating in them several times already!

I bought this product on Monday and received it that Thursday. The wheels and barrels on this product is absolutely outstanding. I would buy this product again. The fit is great. If your a girl go by your women’s size and not by your boys size.

Thrilled with these skates!!!
These skates are great quality, perfect fit, comfortable, and just an all-around great skate. The wheels that came with it are awesome and move really well even on rougher outdoor surfaces. I can't wait to get on the derby track and give these skates a complete test run.

Great skates! I haven't skated in 27 yrs and the skate felt amazing and fit true to its size. I wear an 8. Only issue is the red wheels are a bubblegum pink but Julia and Kelsey was very helpful and knowledgeable and took care of the issue. Excellent
I know that $180 is a lot of money for a pair of skates. However when you are looking at other speed skates and a lot of them were $300+. $180 isn’t such a bad price. Overall, I love these skates. As is, right out of the box they are an excellent pair of skates.

Time Travel Engaged
These remind me so much of my old school Riedell Carerra skates I bought with my first paycheck as a DJ at the skating rink 25 years ago with one exception... Comfort. These are far above the comfort of those original Carerra skates with some added cushion around the ankle. Highly recommend these for anyone that prefers the old school look of quads with some added comfort.

fast, smooth, but a little pinchy
if you have been using rentals, these are going to completely blow you away. they are fast, smooth, with very good maneuverability. my twin sister bought the same pair in a different size and needed to tighten her trucks when they arrived but mine looked similar but felt really good, i think its just skater preference and not an issue with assembly. i wear a ladies 12 shoe but the riedell 11 is much too big, as is the 10, but the 9 (which i am wearing) are a touch too small, just a few millimeters but enough to cause toe and toenail issues. I believe this will get better as they break in, and i am experimenting with various lacing styles to try to remedy the issue. (i wish riedell would offer half sizes....) i got mine with purple wheels and i put on purple toe stops and purple led lights for the baddest skates on the rink.
