It's no surprise that Riedell R3 Cosmic Superfly speed skate boots are so incredibly popular! The R3 boot features class-leading build quality – including a special grade of vinyl that is more durable than standard vinyl and a detailed boot construction process that was developed from Riedell's decades of boot-making experience.
We paired the R3 boot with an adjustable mini round toe stop in black, and an agile PowerDyne Thrust Nylon plate (15 degrees).
For this Riedell R3 quad roller skate, we chose a Roller Skate Nation exclusive, the Cosmic Superfly Wheels. This wheel is made from high quality -GRIP RITE- urethane. Long lasting, deep speed grooves mean maximum wear & grip. Nylon inserts keep the bearings cool & smooth. These speed wheels are 62mm x 40mm and 90A hardness.

The Riedell R3 fits similar to a sneaker. They are heavily padded and narrow in the toes.

Cosmic Superflys
Skating in these are amazing. At first I was hesitant because it felt like I was going to fall down, but these are perfect skates for multiple reasons, they are comfy, fast and give you options for rhythm skating or speed skating, and you can choose your wheel color which is cool. Overall this is a great experience with this type of skate. and they break in easily im 234 guy and they feel like they won't break at all no matter how hard I skate on them!

Mostly Awesome! Tight Toes
I have yet to see if breaking these bad boys in will help, but I find the toe box to be especially restrictive/narrow. I definitely DON’T recommend for wider feet. Other than that, the shoe feels nice (other than toe box), the wheels glide SO WELL and these are easy to secure to my feet in my preferred lacing style. Does push both big toe and pinky toe into an already crowded space.

I love these new skates! I bought the wrong size and had to exchange them for the correct size. Roller skate nation was accommodating and lightning fast. I'll buy all my skates from them from now on.

I haven’t skated in about 40 years. My daughter and I started going again and I decided to get some skates. These had good reviews, and I’m glad I listened to them. They’re great. Very comfortable, fast, and the wheels are very grippy.

I have been skating for 30 plus years now and these are the most comfortable and smoothest Skates have owned and I use to skate the most expensive brands out there and these have passed all expectations !!!!!! The wheels are smooth and sticky which allows shuffling be smooth

Skates
I haven’t skated in 40 years and back then I was fast. I had the best skates money could buy back then. I got these skates to try skating with my girlfriend and I wasn’t expecting much except I didn’t want to be a dork that rents skates. I was shocked. These are very comfortable and light and really grippy. And they look killer. I felt like one of the cool kids at 51 years old. Thanks
