Go Gro Adjustable Skates
These are great for the beginner with the exception of the length of the toe stop. It makes it nearly impossible for the beginner not to depend on them to push off and skate faster.

Decent all in one package for a growing child
First off, I want to say Roller Skate Nation customer service is extraordinary!! We will be customers for life. My little one was thrilled to receive these, and kept thanking us for buying them! : D Skating recently became a thing because our school does bi monthly fundraisers at the local skate rink. We were looking for something that was less of an investment, but provided everything to get started skating. Our little one loves the skates and has already worn them twice to skate inside home and briefly at the park, since they arrived last week. The pads have not been used, but I am hoping my little one will come around. I will say the quality is fairly mediocre on all of the items, which is to be expected for $50. They function, however, they are not top quality. The boot of the skate has a strange horizontal seam, right in the middle that was immediately noticed. People with a high arch might not be bothered by this or even notice it very much however, if you have low arches/flat feet it will be uncomfortable. I ordered $30 hockey skate insoles from Superfeet, I hope those will fix the issue. If not, i will figure out a different insole. We use Asics brand sneakers for the most part, because they support different pronation’s (over, under, neutral) these skates are nothing like a sneaker, so it takes getting used to. Overall a decent product for the money, including the insoles, it was just over $80. When these are outgrown, if skating is still a hobby, I will invest in a better pair. If you are on the fence, I would say go for it, but understand that when you purchase separately, higher quality items are available but more expensive. I would not advise spending over $100 on a first pair of skates, you want to make sure they’re being used before making the greater investment. As long as you try them on inside on a clean floor with white socks, they are exchangeable. As mentioned in the beginning, Roller, Skate Nation customer service is amazing. They are willing to work with you regarding sizing, quality, etc..

2 Pairs of Roller Skates - Youth
I am very impressed with the shoe skates I purchased for my great grand sons they are well made, adjustable, affordable and came with a bag and knee pads. I would certainly recommend these to others to purchase for their children.

Just Right!
Just received these for our 4 year old and she loves them. Excellent quality.

Great for young athletes
We got these for my 5-yr old who needed skates that were small but more able than those cheap character over-shoe toys. These are great and my child has picked up real skating habits early. I’m so happy I found these and hope they will actually last 2-3 years since they are adjustable.

My son loves them
We got these skates for my 4 year old because they were the only ones I could find small enough for him. I like that they adjust in size. They were a good deal with the pads, too. He is able to use them and he loves them so much. However, like many of the reviewers below me, I was disappointed that the skates don't appear to even have bearings. The wheels seem to literally spin, sans bearings, on the axels of the trucks. I tried to replace the wheels with some old Atom Pulse wheels and bearings I had, but they were too big to fit these tiny skates. I may try replacing with some Impala wheels I have, but I was very disappointed with the quality of the wheels and bearings. Much lower quality than the wheels and bearings that had come with another pair of Lenexa kids skates I had bought in the past. Overall, a good upgrade from Fisher Price, and appear to be durably made, but not great for a child who wants to really get going on skates. The wheels just don't roll well enough. Good for a beginner, though, and maybe would be great with new bearings and wheels!

nice skates for my little boy
I bought these skates for my 4-year-old son. These are his first pair, after his Fisher-Price toddler skates. I love that these adjust as he grows. The boots seem comfortable. He doesn't complain about them. They stay in place. The wheels are okay for a beginner skater. We will probably replace the bearings, if we can. The wheels spin, much better than some popular kids' skates, but it still takes him a lot of effort to keep rolling.

Great intro skates
Our kids love these skates! They wore them on Christmas morning and didnt take them off for 2 days. We took them to the Roller Cave and they worked great at that rink. The adjustmemt system is just what we were looking for since ordering shoes online for growing kids can be a challenge. The kids are able to put them on without aid (5 and 7 year old). Great package and awesome price. So glad we didn't buy through Amazon.
