The Luna boots are mounted to VNLA Gorilla high-impact nylon plates with metal trucks in the same oil slick finish seen on the boot! The new Jelly Roll wheels by Backspin are designed to handle rough terrain. They roll smoothly over the bumps and debris you'll encounter outdoors. The wheels are complete with VNLA Reaction ABEC-9 bearings.
Sizing tip: the Luna boot runs approximately 1/2 size large. Half sizes should go DOWN 1/2 size as opposed to up. If your boot is a little roomy, we recommend adding a VNLA Contour Insole.
For example:
If you wear a Ladies' 8.5 shoe, order the Men's 7 (Ladies' 8-8.5).
If you wear a Men's 10.5 shoe, order the Men's 10 (Ladies' 11-11.5).

Amazing fit. Love the looks even more in person. Toe stop is a bit huge but that’s cool.

Sizing
In my previous review I forgot to mention the most important thing which is sizing. I’m a true US woman’s 7 in shoes. I buy size M6/W7 in skates, but for these in particular since all the sources I’ve found said they are cut big, I got a M5/W6 and they fit perfectly. I did buy the vlna inserts incase just incase I needed them, but they fit better without them. I’d say if you don’t size down definitely get inserts.

Great skates!
I got these to be my new outdoor skates. They are pretty comfortable and light weight which is very important to me since I’m a kinda small. Light weight materials like suede and nylon are my personal go to’s for strong support and smooth skating. They are very good quality, even down to the stitching on the sole, so I know they’ll last a long time. They didn’t require much customization out of the box other than lacing them up, I will likely replace the laces soon, as they aren’t my favorite, but they’ll do. They are a little stiffer then my other skates, but I’m not mad at that since I got them for skating outside, so the extra support is appreciated. They also originally come with black jelly roll outdoor wheels, but I wanted the pink ones and roller skate nation had no problem switching them for me. Amazing and fast customer service on their part which I love! Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Awesome Outdoor Skate
This was my first purchase of a pair of roller skates.. and I am not disappointed. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing and looked at all my options. I have worn them outside skating several times now and they are very comfortable and easy to maneuver. I would recommend as a great starter pair!

Outdoor Roller Skates
I am very pleased with this purchase. These are my first pair of properly fitting skates. I did accidentally buy a size too big, then I took them outside thinking I could make it work...figuring out that you definitely want your skates to be on the more snug side. I am a size 10 in womens, so I ordered a size 9 in skates initially but a size 8 fits me better since these skates have a half size difference from other skates. The wheels are also perfect for outdoors, though if youre still a beginner skater like me, falling is rough on the exterior and metal prongs for laces. I highly recommend getting a skate tool to adjust tightness of your wheels as well. Overall I am delighted with this brand of skate and how quickly it was shipped out to me!
