VNLA (Vanilla) has designed and manufactured high-end roller skates and skate components since 2005 and is the premier brand for jam and rhythm skaters. The VNLA Á La Mode is the newest addition to the VNLA collection and is the sweet ride skaters have been asking for!
The roller skate boot is made from genuine suede in 5 creamy colors inspired by your favorite sweet treats: Mocha Brown, Blue Moon, Pistachio Green, Ube Purple, and Creamsicle Orange. The boot offers structured support throughout and is lined with an ultra-comfy patterned liner to keep your feet feeling snug.
The new Jelly Roll wheels by Backspin are designed to handle rough terrain. They roll smoothly over the bumps and debris you'll encounter outdoors! The transparent urethane wheels with a nylon hub measure 62mm in diameter and have a hardness of 78A. They come complete with VNLA Reaction ABEC-9 bearings.
Sizing tip: the VNLA A La Mode boot runs approximately 1/2 size large. Half sizes should go DOWN 1/2 size as opposed to up. If your boot is a little roomy, we recommend adding a VNLA Contour Insole.
For example:
If you wear a Ladies' 8.5 shoe, order the Men's 7 (Ladies' 8-8.5).
If you wear a Men's 10.5 shoe, order the Men's 10 (Ladies' 11-11.5).

Nicely designed
Suede is probably one of the best materials to design almost anything with, nice cushions all around the ankle including the tongue. Combined with nice jelly roll outdoor wheels. Awesome combination. What I don’t like, I waited about a month to receive the skates because they were not in stock. Insoles will have to be added to or replaced. I did receive close to a reasonable in-store credit due to having to wait for the train delivery from the west coast. Along with being shipped by FedEx and left in plain sight. This time not good not bad just honest…

Creamsicle outdoor skates
This is my first pair of skates and the color is absolutely beautiful. I purchased the wrong size at first and with free exchange I received a new pair in the correct size 2 days after receiving the first!! They’re very comfortable and roll very well, I’m excited to accessorize them and continue learning new skills.

Awesome Skates and Service
Highly recommend Roller Skate Nation and these skates! The VNLA Á LA MODE were just great to get me back on a roll. I've been off skates for a few years and wanted some fun looking and comfortable boots with good plates amd wheels for outdoors. These hit the mark! (I kind of want all the colors!) Sizing was easy thanks to the chart. I traced my foot and measured the length and the fit couldn't be more perfect. I wear a 9.5 mens in shoes and was a 9 boot. Delivery was fast, and packaging was great. I'm so impressed by Roller Skate Nation and will be continuing to order from them for all my roller skating needs in the future. In fact, I already have.

These skates are so perfect it’s not even funny. They’re incredibly comfy and ride sooo smoothly not to mention the color is so magical! I also wanna say you guys were really helpful with exchanging my first pair that was too big. I appreciate the patience and great customer service!

VNLA A la mode
My usual shoe size is 7.5-8. They are well balanced with a wide boot and perfect for me in size 6. (I also have size 6 Moxi Lolly skates and they are so much tighter.) Still being suede it doesn’t hurt my feet. The tongue will stay in place better on the VNLA. These are really well made.

Oh DO I love these skates! The boot is super comfortable, both flexible and provides a lot of ankle support. The one thing I don't like, and I don't like it at ALL, are the laces. While they're durable, I experience that they get loose after a while. Other wise amazing skate!

VNLA skates
The most beautiful, most comfortable high tops skates I’ve seen/ ever owned in my life. I’ve always liked VNLA but these right here take the cake. 10/10 recommend. The size was perfect and it was nice that they said it runs one size big. My typical shoe size is about a 8 so I got the 7- 7 1/2 size skates and they fit beautifully. The wheels are amazing and roll great outdoors. Everything about this skate is amazing. Love love love them!
