The roller skate boot is made from genuine suede in 5 creamy colors inspired by your favorite sweet treats: Mocha Brown, Blue Moon, Pistachio Green, Ube Purple, and Creamsicle Orange. The boot offers structured support throughout and is lined with an ultra-comfy patterned liner to keep your feet feeling snug.
The new Jelly Roll wheels by Backspin are designed to handle rough terrain. They roll smoothly over the bumps and debris you'll encounter outdoors! The transparent urethane wheels with a nylon hub measure 62mm in diameter and have a hardness of 78A. They come complete with VNLA Reaction ABEC-9 bearings.
Sizing tip: the VNLA A La Mode boot runs approximately 1/2 size large. Half sizes should go DOWN 1/2 size as opposed to up. If your boot is a little roomy, we recommend adding a VNLA Contour Insole.
For example:
If you wear a Ladies' 8.5 shoe, order the Men's 7 (Ladies' 8-8.5).
If you wear a Men's 10.5 shoe, order the Men's 10 (Ladies' 11-11.5).

VNLA A LA MODE
I love these skates. I feel like I was plateauing with my skills but an upgrade in skates is what I needed. The sizing initially scared me. I'm traditionally a US size 6. But after measuring my foot I ordered a size 4 and they fit great! For anyone deterred by size you cannot go wrong with measuring along with the guide that roller skate nation usually provides with each skate :).

I was nervous about the size because I don't like to return things. But instead of ordering my "normal" shoe size, I trusted the sizing chart and measured my foot. I got my skates in the mail and THEY FIT PERFECTLY. Yeah!! Tried them out on my cement floor and all went well. Then I hit the rink and made the final decision that these are keepers. I made a good choice. I grew up skating in rentals with no complaints but the kids are grown now and I'll be 59 this summer and just had to spoil myself with these. Love 'em.

Great for wide feet
The sizing advice for these skates worked great for me. I usually need a 5.5 wide in walking boots and the M4/L5 size fits snuggly without pinching. The heel does not seem wide. The skates are cute, too.

These are the second pair of skates I got for myself as an upgrade to my first pair of stiff nylon beginner skates. I still wanted ankle support but was looking for something higher quality and more stylish. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t find many reviews on the VNLA brand but the ones I did were happy with their products. The moment I put these on my jaw dropped. Worlds better than my other well-known brand skates that were only about $35 less than these. The wheels, bearings, and cushions are amazing quality and the boot fits very comfortably without squeezing my toes. My first pair of skates were a tad too big and I can’t stress enough the importance of having a perfectly fitting boot. I wish I purchased these first instead of falling for the hype of the other popular brand who’s marketing is more prevalent on social media. The colors are very much my style and I had a hard time choosing between the mocha and pistachio, but ultimately went with the pistachio boot and brown wheels. I want to note that the plate is more of an off-white cream color but that worked in my favor because I actually like it better since the boot color is a more muted dusty green. They are just so cute! I would recommend these to anyone looking to learn how to skate indoor and outdoor because they are very good quality and won’t break the bank.
