The GT-50 speed skate boot is a crowd favorite with a plush lining and durable uppers. In addition to lacing, there is a Velcro power strap to ensure proper fit. These boots come in a wider fit than other skates, so if you have narrow feet you may want to size down or wear thick socks.
The oh-so popular Sure-Grip Rock double action plates are made from lightweight nylon. With an adjustable toe stop they will always be right where you need them!
Cosmic SuperFly wheels (62mm, 90A) are made with high quality Grip Rite urethane to give you a long lasting and versatile roll. With Abec 5 bearings, they can withstand all that your indoor skating can throw at them!
SIZING TIP: These boots fit a little wider than comparable boots, providing more space to relax your feet. They are made in Men's sizing (the size that will appear on your boot label) and we list the Ladies' equivalent in parentheses to make sizing easy!

Safety Concern with Non-metal plates, but rest good.
I bought these skates for my roller derby team and it's on me for not checking the plate material, but for roller derby you're going to want a metal (aluminum or magnesium) plate for your skates. I've also heard many places that nylon plates aren't the safest for adult skaters, so keep that in mind. The boot is pretty durable, I was however able to rip off the heel tag trying to put them on too fast. The wheels if kept clean are really grippy, I find they work both indoor and outdoor skating (wipe off the wheels if you're moving from outdoor to indoor for better grip). The toe stop is a rubbery material so it's safer to walk on, and the laces seem to be holding up. I've been skating in these for a semester now. Overall, they're about what you pay for. This website sells metal plates and I plan to buy a pair of those soon. The colors in the picture are accurate, I got red wheels.

So far skates are awesome. Used only outside so far but really good with outdoor wheels.

It's a whole new world
Purchased 8-13-21 after getting back into skating with my wife and kids. I grew up on rentals, but the last 4 weeks on rentals was killing my feet, and the amount of drag seemed excessive. Figured I'd give these a shot for a decent starter skate, and huge difference from a rental. Well padded and very comfortable, but the ease of speed is incredible! 2 solid hours of skating last night and no sore feet, and loads of fun. Well worth the price!

Best Christmas Gift Ever!
I ordered these skates for my husband for Christmas. My payment was delayed for about 3 days because of verification issues so I didn't think they would make it in time for Christmas. Well after the verification was done the skates were at my door in 2 days. They came right before Christmas. My husband said they fit perfect and they're the best roller skates he ever owned. He skates in them everyday!! I'll definitely be shopping here again!!!

Great Skate
Very pleased with this purchase, the skates look amazing and the sizing was spot on, that was the main thing that concerned me. I haven't had the chance yet to give them a good run but initially I'm very happy. They feel like a solid, well made skate.

So fast!
I got the indoor wheels with mine. I've always used rink speed skates, these roll so much smoother, and they're really comfortable. You barely push and they fly. I now know what speed skates feel like, I'm able to keep up with blade skaters.
