VNLA Freestyle PRO Plus Remix Jam Skates

These skates were a gift for my 43rd birthday. As an older skating mom, I am in it for comfort and function. These fit my feet a bit more loose than I expected, but this was a bonus for me because I am able to use my UGG style shearling insoles which make the skates feel like heaven :). I opted for the aluminum hub remix wheel, they feel good, but are a bit heavy for me - I switched to the revenge wheel and it felt better for my old lady muscles. (note that I have had 6+ knee surgeries, 2 hip surgeries) I have not graduated to the toe plugs on both skates yet due to my limited ability, but I did think that the plugs are more firm than my old sure grip plugs. After 4 skating sessions I have a small irritation at the top of my (r) ankle from the tongue rubbing. My work around is not using the last islets and forcibly folding the tongue forward. Its my opinion that the tongue should be a bit longer to accommodate for a fold. (I am very right foot/leg dominant and this could just be my own issue) Bottom line - I love this pair of skates, they seem well made, very comfortable, I like the performance, kewl styling, and closeout price! I am 99.9% satisfied with the Vanilla Freestyle skates. I would like to point out that the customer service at Rollerskatenation.com is amazing. It was nice talking to Nathan - he was very helpful. He took the time to explain each of the wheels pros and cons. He informed me of the bearing size that was not included in the description (8mm). I would have no hesitation ordering again (already placed multiple orders). Thank you Nathan, im sure you make the company proud!

These are honestly the freshest skate's on the skate market! nothing can get better than these right here . They are absolute awesome! the make me look so fresh , when i skate around in them .

When i put these on , i do a whole lot of freestyling on the floor! they make it look so smooth and original! they are absolutely fantastic skate's! i love mine and i know anyone else will love their's .

Killing the game with these! these make my skating so smooth and i can't find that with any other skate at all .

Out of all the skate's around town , i have found these to be the most comfortable . my feet never hurt . my feet are always more comfortable . my ankle's never hurt or anything .

This boot has such a sleek and timeless look to it. I've owned these for years and out of all the skates I own I can't stop going back to these. They're so comfortable and are just a really flexible boot.

I'm in love with these. They last the longest out of any vanilla skate and they really are what everyone makes them out to be.

Vanilla doesn't ever make anything mediocre. These are a phenomenal set of skates. They whole set up is flawless. Highly recommend.
