Use for roller derby
I bought these skates, because they were an affordable set up that checked a lot of boxes off my list (leather boots, indoor wheels, metal plate and trucks, adjustable toe stop, etc.). The leather boots are very comfortable and didn't take much work to break in. I especially like that the boot isn't completely low-top but not high-top either. Since I play derby, it allows for manueverability while still allowing me to feel secure in the ankles. The plate is really great quality, but still manages not to be too heavy despite being aluminum. I really like the 95A chase alpha wheels (I tried a teammates wheels that were also a 95 A and ultimately liked how the default wheels felt that came with the setup). My only complaint with the functionality of the skates is that the toe stop is small and somewhat firmer that I would like. While not a cute or girly skate, the style is attractive and gives a cool vibe that works for roller derby.

Great value
I got these skates to start roller derby. I am experienced with other types of roller skating so I knew I wanted a quality skate to start. The quality of the skate seems to be very durable and comfortable. The size was also perfect. They do seem heavy when comparing them to my park skates, guess that means I’ll get stronger calves lol. Have only used them to skate around the house so far and they feel exceptionally fast and I’m very happy about that. Only downside of the skates so far was the that toe stop screws were seized up and took lots of tinkering with to loosen, so I could raise the stoppers.
