Are you seeking a classic looking skate with a great reputation? The Riedell 111 Sonic Outdoor Roller Skates are just for you! The ORIGINAL Riedell 111 boot has soft vinyl uppers ensuring great mobility and perfect fit. Featuring the original Riedell tongue logo. The white boot is made in Ladies' sizing, and is C width (medium). The black boot is made in Men's sizing, and is D width (medium +).

Durable PowerDyne Thrust nylon plates offer the support that you need for outdoor skating without unneeded bulk and weight. A large adjustable toe stop is there to support you when making quick stops in the great outdoors!

Our Sonic Outdoor Wheels (62mm x 38mm) (85A) are absorbent and specifically designed for outdoor use. These Sonic wheels have super high rebound, long lasting urethane, and a nylon core for perfect bearing alignment. Super smooth roll makes these Sonic skate wheels a perfect choice for all around recreational outdoor skating and new carhops! We paired these wheels with ABEC 7 bearings to give you a smooth roll as you speed through the sidewalks of your neighborhood, or wherever adventure takes you!

PLEASE NOTE: The Black 111 boot comes Men's sizes and has a D-width (wider). For women who wish to order the Black boot, you will need to round a full size down from your normal shoe size for proper fit.

Men: The Black skate is true to size. If you wear a half size or have slightly wider feet, size up to the next nearest whole size.

Ladies: The White boot is true to size. If you are interested in the Black boot (Mens sizing), you will need to round down 1 full size from your normal shoe size. For example, a Mens size 6 is a Ladies size 7. For half sizes, we recommend rounding down to the next nearest whole size. Ex: If you wear a Ladies 7.5 shoe, You would order a Mens 7 (which is a Ladies 8).

      HOLIDAY RETURN EXTENSION: For orders placed between 11/1/2025 and 1/1/2026, we offer a 60-day return window for refunds back to the original payment method.

    • Returns for exchange or store credit ship back free of charge!

    • Returns for refund to original payment method are subject to a return shipping fee ($12-$18 depending on location)

    • Items must be returned in new condition and with their original product box in order to receive a full refund. Items returned with visible signs of use (scuffs, dirt, hair or other debris) or missing components may be rejected by our Returns Department or charged a 20%-50% damage fee (deducted from refund).

    Outskate the alternatives

    These skates are meant for outdoors and it shows. I consistently outskate my friends on equally expensive skates on surfaces that are not perfectly smooth like parking lots and sidewalks. If you’re looking for skates that let you explore an outside downtown area these are the skates for you. Comfy and ready to go. If you’re a half size order up so you can wear thick socks.

    The skates arrived ready to go with no wheel adjustments needed to the wheels such as tightening or losing. They are4 comfortable and I love my yellow wheels, they are smooth on the pavement.

    Got a size 13, skates are made very well and the sonic wheels are great. The toe stops leave a lot to be desired.

    I've been skating almost every day in these since the beginning of September and they are basically just as they were then– close to no wear and tear despite me taking a number of falls since using them. There's good ankle support and cushioning on the inside of the skates and the construction of the skates seems to be of a good quality. The adjustable toe stop was also a big plus, as this type of stop allows for more versatility in your skating and can be used for a longer time, from what I've seen. I immediately replaced the wheels with softer outdoor wheels, so I can't speak on those specifically, but as for the rest of the skate, it seems to be durable and comfortable. I will say that as someone with wider feet I got the (wider) mens version of these, and the area around my pinky toe was a bit tight at first, but as I've worn them in this hasn't been much of a problem anymore. One thing to note on my pair specifically is that there is sometimes a slight creaking noise when accessing the outside edge of the left skate, but this hasn't caused any problems in my skating, just something to be aware of since this hasn't happened on other skates I have. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a durable, high quality vegan skate!
