The original Renegade boot was widely respected in roller derby as it offered extreme durability with comfort where others did not. Made with Italian leather and microfiber linings, this is not a boot you want to miss out on! If you are in the market for a durable skate, or a new skater looking for something comfortable, the VNLA Renegade is an incredibly solid option.

Vanilla has paired this boot with the newly redesigned Vanilla Gorilla skate plate featuring a 5 degree double action truck that will increase stability and skater response. The plate includes a lifetime warranty, so you can skate worry free. The skate is finished with 62mm x 42mm, 92A wheels with nylon hubs and ABEC9 bearings for a superior roll. 

#1 Sizing Rule: Buying roller skates is just like buying a pair of shoes. Unless stated otherwise, your shoe size will be the size that you will need for your skates. For more detailed sizing help please click the blue box to the right.

  • Returns and Exchanges

    • POLICY

      HOLIDAY EXTENSION: For orders placed between November 1st, 2023 and January 1st, 2024, we will accept returns up to 60 days after the date your order was delivered, and exchanges up to 90 days after the date your order was delivered

      • We offer a 30-day return policy and a 90-day exchange policy (available to customers in the U.S. and Canada only).

      • Returns for exchange or store credit ship back free of charge!

      • Returns for refund to original payment method are subject to a return shipping fee ($12-$18 depending on location)

      • Items must be returned in new condition and with their original product box in order to receive a full refund. Items returned with visible signs of use (scuffs, dirt, hair or other debris) or missing components may be rejected by our Returns Department or charged a 20%-50% damage fee (deducted from refund).

      • Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed.

    I now work at a skating rink and finally decided to invest in a pair of low top jam skates. So far they're comfy after a small break in, and they're cute in my opinion compared to the usual vnla jr's. No complaints here!
