Much more usable than I was expecting

I have not skated with these outside yet. I bought them as a punt hoping I might be able to use them on long stretches of rubbish-quality roads in the provinces of Philippines. So far I have only tried them on my concrete rooftop area and I was going from forwards to backwards, turning sharply, spinning, jumping over stuff, I could do everything almost as normal.

As a test I put 62mm Sonic wheels on one foot and the Krypto 70s on another foot, just for fun. Up until that time I had only ever skated in 58mm SIM Snakes.

I was surprised that it wasn't as bizarre as I expected. However, I can compare now the performance. The 62s went over bumps that would have stopped me on SIMs or at least felt very uncomfortable. The 70s went over cracks and bumps as if they were not even there. It was unreal. When I did this test the wheels did bump into each other a bit, but I did not have that problem using 70s on both feet, so I assume there is an adjustment that you make automatically to having wider wheels.

My query before buying them would have been how difficult are they to skate in and would they make a difference? Yes, they will make a difference for sure, and adapting to them is not that bad, but you probably wouldn't want to use them for tight, twisty, tricky things, I'm not yet sure.
